What is a Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
A BCP is a plan that details the steps needed to take a company from one side of a disaster through to the other. Our Industry experts have unique experience in the Hedge Fund arena designing plans for the high uptime requirements needed in the typical hedge fund environment.

Why does my company need a BCP?
Simply put the FSA require it. Aside from this it is good business practice to prepare for the worse and practice the recovery techniques identified.

What’s different from other standard BCP companies?
Securm understand the hedge fund market and the specific requirements that Hedge Funds need during a disaster. We don’t try and sell you a quantative Business impact analysis as our research shows that this isn’t an effective metric for high turn over institutions where it can be almost impossible to determine the relative monetary effect on business risk positions. As such we tailor your BCP BIA to metrics that your business can understand.

What will I receive from my free review?
Our Consultants will look through your plan and tell you if it is likely to enable you to effectively restore your business in a manner that is appropriate to your business.

What will I receive from my complete review?
One of our Consultants will come on site and perform a BIA designed for the Hedge Fund Industry and review your current BCP inline with this data. A report will be generated detailing any deficiencies and any good practice. Our Consultant will then help you modify the plan so that it is appropriate to your business requirements and ensuring that the FSA is happy with the plan.

We will then sit through your first BCP meeting and your first test.
Further tests can be scheduled at this point to ensure that your plan is adequate.

What will I receive from a complete write?
As above but our highly experienced consultants will complete the process from BIA through to Testing. Optionally we can add a training package to suit your business.

Data Destruction
Send Securm your old data, in any form, and we will securely destroy it. Any type of data destruction undertaken, hard drives, paper documents, backup tapes, old hardware (Routers, Firewalls). We will then dispose of the waste along with Government WEEE directives.
